Hey, there, my name's Naomi Laras Asmoro, but people call me Laras. I'm 14, and I've claimed myself as a bookworm--even though I haven't read that many books to claim myself, but I kinda like the title-- and I live in Jakarta, Indonesia, where it's hotter than Apollo and Logan Lerman combined. The very first book that I've read was Percy Jackson; The Lightning Thief by Rick Riordan. I became obsessed with books ever since. All the emotions hitting the walls of your gut like a storm in your stomach, all the--as we, fangirls/boys call it-- feels that gives you goosebumps and you just want to cuddle with that character and tell him/her that everything will be fine.
My favorite kind would be fiction (hence the title) and I am a sucker for mythological things. Heck, mythology is my homie!!
I have a soft spot for chicklits/teenlits like teen-romance. But I've only read one book from that genre, "The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight" by Jennifer E. Smith. I bought that book without my parents knowing. But I'll get to that in another post.
Now, on this blog I'd talk about books, and probably some posts about new movies which I also love with a passion, because I'm not a chick who lives in a cave...I live in a cave with Wi-Fi, so HOORAH!
As for movies, so far my favorite would be either Artificial Intelligence (A.I), or A Millions Ways to Die In The West. A very weird compilation, but I coped.
I'm a 9th grader with friends you can count with cartoon character's fingers. I have fellow nerds, but we're not like besties, we just...talk about Percabeth and how we'd love to be in Camp Half-Blood. Yeah, I say a lot of demigods inside jokes. Dam, I should stop.
So, that's what I have so far. Ask away for any other details you want to know, or tips or anything.
Thanks for reading, guys
